Anita has recently started some music and movement workshops in the rural villages of North Cornwall, classes currently are being held in Tinatgel every Tuesday and Camelford every Friday from 10am until 11am. These classes were created to offer something unique for the families of rural areas within North Cornwall. Although there are some great classes in other larger towns, Anita discovered that the smaller villages had nothing like this and so set about to do something about it.The workshops aim to be affordable, accessible, fun and to offer a regular space for parents to socialise. Anita has a passion for music in early years and has recently completed her Level 1 and 2 in Makaton, she has really enjoyed using signs with the songs and rythmes that she uses in her classes and hopes to train futher in the up-coming months. These sessions focus on music and movement, using all types of media such as signing, musical instruments and sensory exploration and play and each week offers something new.
